At this moment, we are unaware of the hardware. It must make advantage of the most recent core architecture if it is a Gen 2 chipset. The improved A510 is used in the Silver and Prime cores, while the Cortex-A715 is used in the Prime and Gold cores. 7. Gen 1. The Cortex-A715 and the reworked A510 have more efficiency than the predecessors but they are not significantly faster.
If these are the new cores, we should expect a little performance boost but a substantial improvement in efficiency. The A715 is 20% more effective and 5% faster than the A710. Additionally, the A510 core underwent a modest modification that increased efficiency by 5% but not by enough to warrant a new model.
In less than a month, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Generation 2 will be unveiled at the next Snapdragon Summit. We’ll find out more about Qualcomm’s plans in the near future, even though the Snapdragon 7 series chip will presumably be introduced at a different time and place.
