The newest version of Apple, iOS 14.5, has been released as a beta developer. This means that you need a developer account for Apple, that you can test and possibly have a number of bugs since Apple still works on it before it is released.

Apple does not publicly advertise the release of a new version of iOS, but we can follow some indications. Since the beta development of iOS 14.5 was released on Feb 1, and releases were released about once a month, we can expect to see the final release of iOS 14.5 sometime in February.

iOS 14.5 New Features

The latest version of iOS is going to bring several useful new features, including:

1. Use Face ID to unlock your iPhone Device

The owners of the Apple Watch can choose a feature that enables you to use Face ID to unlock your iPhone, even if your face is obscured by a mask. The Uhr offers haptical feedback to make sure your iPhone is unlocked.

2. Set a default music player of your choice

4. App tracking transparency

iOS 14.5 includes changes to the privacy of applications requiring user permission to track data and activity in advance. This builds upon a modification released in iOS 14.3 that allows you to see which data applications are collected before downloading them.

5. Dual-SIM 5G global support
